Lot owners can build their own Hangar but

it must be similar to the others being built including color.

A small usage fee by each lot owner using the runway is $25 month.

This goes to the Myrtle Beach Hardee Airpark POA.


The owner offers to build hangars for buyers as follows:  

Small lot w/hangar 44’ w x 36’ d for $69,900 as a special.

Large lot w/hangar 48’ w x 56’ d is $89,900 as a special.

These prices include the prices for the lots. 

The owner will hold the lot for you for 20% down with an agreement

for him to build your hangar.



  1. Each owner built Hangar will have a solar Panel to operate their Hydraulic Door. The Hydraulic door is operated by a 12 volt dc pump.  (I have 3 Hydro doors here now that use the 12 volt pump with no issues and 11 years old.  12 volt dc is used on snow plows and rear lift gates on delivery trucks.)

  1. We will have at least a Port A Let in an enclosed area to use like Horry County does at their Boat Ramps and other places that have little use.

  2. A place to get water and or wash their airplane will be available.

  3. Basic LED lighting will be installed in each hangar connected to their Battery/Batteries. Most tools today are Battery operated.

  4. If they need more electric, a generator could be used or another Solar Panel installed. See # 12 This generator could be used at their house if the house electric quit.

  5. Financing is for the lot and or the hangar with 20% down. If they pay cash for the lot they have made their deposit to finance the Hangar..

  6. Lot owners can build their own Hangar but, it must be similar to the others being built as well as the color.

  7. A association will be formed for the lot owners, so they can address things like the grass around the lots, pay the cost of port a let or if they want to hire the grass being cut around their lots, etc.

  2. Hangar lots can be purchased and not put up a building. No limit on time to build.

  3. Hangar and lot can be used for other than to store a aircraft. They may want to store cars or have a woodworking shop.

  4. No commercial retail operations can be run out of a hangar.

  5. Electric can be installed but, it would be expensive and must be underground.

  6. The reason to not have commercial electric, not to have a full restroom building, not to have water to each hangar is COST.
